The part of an eye examination most people relate to is the vision test or refraction. While this is only one phase of your examination, it's certainly an important one. Using the most advanced equipment, we will do a series of lens tests to determine if you need glasses or contact lenses to improve your vision.

Optomap is a new digital imaging system that provides a fast and comfortable way to check the health of the retina without dilating the eye. No more blurred vision and sensitivity to sunlight for hours after your examination. It produces an instant high resolution Image which is used to detect retinal eye diseases and to provide a baseline for future examinations. The 200° image will be reviewed with you during your examination.

The Biomicroscope and Slit-Lamp are used to examination the anterior segment of the eye. The slit-lamp is also used with the tonometer to measure the intraocular pressure for glaucoma.
